Enterprise Finance Guarantee - On 9th December 2009 The Chancellor announced a 12 month continuation of the Enterprise Finance Guarantee under which the Government provides a 75 per cent guarantee to lenders on loans to businesses, and will now continue until March 2011. This is intended to encourage lending to SMEs.
